Helmi Pucino,
President
Helmi Pucino is an expert in productivity and quality improvement. She was formerly the corporate training director for Motorola/Codex, where she was responsible for executive training, engineering education, career development, and organization development. She managed the implementation of the Six Sigma program, which won the Malcolm Baldrige Award. She served as a member of the strategic planning committee at Motorola University. As an internal consultant at Fafnir Bearing/Textron, Helmi managed the implementation of a company-wide Total Quality Management program, which resulted in $1.2 million in cost savings and productivity improvements. Helmi received her Master of Science degree in Counseling from the University of Hartford and Bachelor of Science degree from the Southern Connecticut State University.
Our Staff
Tom McBride has over 30 years of experience in engineering design and manufacturing operations and has assisted a wide variety of manufacturing organizations improve performance by eliminating operational waste through Kaisen and Lean Manufacturing. Mr. McBride is a Six Sigma Blackbelt and holds a BS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and an MBA from the University of Akron. He has published articles on teamwork and operational improvements in SME publications and M&A Today. He is a member of SME (Chairman of Worcester Chapter 25 for 2004 & 2005) and the Corridor 9 Chamber of Commerce.
Rob St. Germain is cofounder of The Center for Project Excellence. Rob has twenty-five years of experience in manufacturing, finance and information technology. He was formerly Director of Corporate Planning at Codex/Motorola, where he also held positions in the Information Systems Department. Rob earned his Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
Susan Bellows is a marketing and time management consultant, sales trainer, national speaker, and author with more than twenty years of management and marketing experience in executive corporate positions and as an independent consultant. In addition to her consulting practice, Susan has held management positions with important New England businesses. As Senior Consultant of Marketing Development for the Paul Revere Insurance Group of Worcester, MA, she was responsible for defining strategies to increase sales to association members and franchise owners. As Vice-President of Marketing for BayBanks, Susan developed and coordinated marketing, training, and communication programs for member banks. Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Simmons College.
